The present paper focused on some aspects of an experimental study carried out with the aim to improve the understanding of the cyclic response of rigid masonry infills, commonly adopted for building enclosure systems in seismic regions, with particular interest in the combined action of in-plane and out-of-plane horizontal loads. Within the scope of this work, a strong masonry infill typology
